When your browser supports WebGPU, the model downloads into its local cache and runs on your device. Your prompts, generated answers, and attached documents stay in the browser tab instead of being sent to a chat server.
That local-first design makes this chatbot useful for quick explanations, brainstorming, outlines, study notes, rewriting, and private document questions. The first visit takes longer because the browser has to download the local model. Later visits are faster because compatible browsers can reuse the cached model files. You can see download progress in the interface, so it is clear what is happening before the assistant is ready. If your device cannot run the larger model, the app can use a smaller local model to keep the experience responsive.
