Local-first chat

AI Chatbot is designed to run the language model in your browser. The app does not provide an account system or operate a server that receives your prompts, generated answers, or the contents of documents you attach. Your chat content is processed on your device while the page is open.

Documents and local storage

When you add a PDF, DOCX, or text file, its text is extracted and searched locally in your browser. The file is not uploaded by this app to a chat server. Your browser may store model files and related cache data locally so later visits can start faster. You can clear browser site data through your browser settings.

Network requests

On first use, the browser may download model and runtime files from the providers used to deliver those public assets. Those providers may receive standard technical information required to serve a web request, such as an IP address and browser details. AI Chatbot does not add your chat messages or attached document text to those asset requests.

Third-party websites

This site may link to external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before sharing information with an external service.
